Welcome

Welcome to the Centre for Intelligent Agents and Multi-Agent Systems (CIAMAS) in the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.

The centre carries out research in intelligent agents, mobile agents and multi-agent systems, focusing on autonomous negotiation and decision-making, coordination and adaptation mechanisms, and their applications in building and managing open, large-scale, distributed systems such as service-oriented systems, virtual enterprises, collaborative e-business and smart environments.

We collaborate closely with the industry and research partners on a range of projects nationally and internationally, and always welcome collaboration opportunities and visitors in our centre.
